In 1995 Herbert Bechtel was elected to the board of the German Association of Executive Search Consultants (VDESB)
and became President in 1997. In this role, he was primarily responsible for the strategy and the orientation of this professional association.

Herbert Bechtel, Founder & Managing Partner
In his 3 decades of being a leader in the Executive Search Industry, Herbert Bechtel has worked with premium high-tech and consulting companies, performing executive search assignments on C-suite & Board level in Germany, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
After an impressive career in the IT industry, he was appointed in 1989 Partner at Heidrick & Struggles and became responsible as Practice Leader for building the Technology Practice both in Germany and in Europe.
He became in 1998 Area Managing Partner for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Israel. In 1995, he was elected to the Board of the German Association of Executive Search Consultants (VDESB) and became President of the VDESB in 1997. In this role, he was primarily responsible for the strategy and the direction of this professional and well respected association.
In 2001, he was appointed Managing Partner of the prestigious Whitehead Mann Group and set up the first subsidiary in Central Europe, along with the opening of two offices in Frankfurt & Munich. He was rated as one of the most successful executive search consultants for Central Europe by Nancy Garrison Jenn in her Book “The Global 200 Executive Recruiters”.
Geneviève Joassard, Partner Executive Search
Geneviève Joassard has 25 years of experience in the luxury travel and hospitality industries.
In 1990, she started her career in the hospitality industry, working both in luxury Relais & Châteaux properties and larger leading hotels.
As entrepreneur, she created 2001 the start-up «Mediterranean Prestige» in Cannes and in 2010 opened the subsidiary “Executive Consulting & Travel” in Paris and Frankfurt. For over 15 years, she assisted multinational companies in their communication strategy and conducted numerous corporate events in France, Europe, and Northern Africa, gathering up to 1000 participants for each event.
